She mentions the advent of augmented reality, and how the “smart home” is not about being able to surf the web from every piece of furniture, but taking advantage of the fact that the technology to use various forms of sensor data and help to connect our digital lives is now cheap and small enough to make it feasable. She also mentions how the Lodestar projects fits into all of this.
